Spring has Sprung!

Week 10 and             Spring has sprung!

Last week we all enjoyed the Market Day with  the class all contributing enthusiastically with the balloons and Party Playdough. ( A huge thanks to the parents who helped there) although back at school I still wasn't 100% with very little voice but we got everything  finished on time with some great experiences, photos and stories from it all.
The funds raised go towards the senior camps modelling the idea of giving to worthy causes.

The weather despite Monday, has really begun to warm up  again and I encourage you all to check out the lost property should your child have any items missing. We went down today as a class and found 3 coats! and of course in the room anything left behind goes into my washing basket by the front door.

Sickness is still with us and I hope the children have a good rest over the break and recharge their bodies. Many have now turned 6 and will get their national standard report on the last day of term....Please look out for these. Reading is really starting to gel for many now especially seen in their personal writing. Your child will have some books to read over the break to maintain their progress, however should you be away, elsewhere or busy just use your judgement. Absolutely no pressure from me!

Spring is really with us now with the daffodils up so a wonderful season of renewal. I hope all of you have a great break with your child and possibly they might have a chance to catch up with each other; even if its a play date at school! I will be in and out of school during the holidays but look forward to term 4 and catching up with you all then.

Just the most awesome group of children. Here we celebrated Connors birthday with a visit to the Daffodil Hill at school!
