Week 9
We had a really busy last few weeks and while the weather wasn't kind to us we still achieved and covered alot. The class Waka (on the wall) is an amazing cooperative effort as are their personal stories and wakas in their folders.
The Marae visit is postponed till early term 3 with notices going home to this effect. Thankyou to those parents who have kindly offered their assistance on those days.
The cooler and wetter weather does also mean a lot of time spent inside and I encourage the children to bring colouring in books and quiet inside games for when it is wet at break times. Some children are also bringing slippers and a change of clothes for when they play outside and get muddy.
Our final week saw many children absent ,however on our last week we did have a successful Discovery morning and on the last day we had a great time with Captain McLaughlin and her hearty crew. The photo says it all.
